Welcome to the website of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuropsychiatry Unit, a clinical unit of the Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre - a joint initiative between North Western Mental Health and the University of Melbourne. We are a statewide specialist mental health service based at the John Cade Building of the Royal Melbourne Hospital that offers neuropsychiatric assessment and advice to psychiatric, neurological and other medical and mental health services. In addition, the unit is involved in a range of world-leading research endeavours, innovative educational programmes, and training of mental health clinicians to meet the future specialised mental health needs of the community.

The unit forms a clinical arm of the Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre, a University of Melbourne research centre with world-leading expertise in cognitive neuropsychiatry, neuroimaging and the neuropsychology of mental illness.
Interested in the NUCOG, the unit's own versatile multidimensional cognitive screening tool? It's now available on the iPad and iPad Mini!
